Heartland Healthcare Service:

On September 25th, at 4 PM, we will be leading a service at Heartland Healthcare in Whitehall. Please contact Karen Packard if you are willing and able to be a part of this ministry.

Awana Helpers Needed:

Please consider helping with AWANA this year! There are many spots to fill: Game time helpers, Helpers with Handbook Time (“Listeners”), Nursery Workers, Cubbies assistants, and people to help on “Special Nights” a few times a year. This is a very rewarding ministry to be a part of! We will be having a “dress rehearsal” THIS Wednesday, Sep 14th, at 6:00 PM for all volunteers. Please talk to Shannon or Gina Sharpe if you have any questions or are on the fence about helping. We’ll be happy to give you a “push”!

Men’s Bible Study:

On Wednesday nights, Larry Jancek will be leading a study in the book of Acts. Begins Sep 21st at 6 PM.

Membership Classes:

Interested in membership at RCC or just want to know more about us? Plan to attend the Membership Classes on Sep 18th and 25th. Please sign up on the bulletin board so that we prepare enough materials.

Thank you!

A note of thanks to all who helped with the Forever Young Luncheon. Whether by helping with the cooking, serving, and/or cleanup, you were a blessing! Special thanks to those who attend the luncheon! You bless us by allowing us to serve you!

AWANA begins soon!

Wednesday nights, from 6:00-7:30 PM for grades K-5. Nursery (2 yr olds and under) and Cubbies (3-5 yr. olds) are provided for parents who are staying on campus for the night. The first night, Sep 21st, will be a PARTY! Come with your kiddos to get them registered and see what a typical Wednesday night will be like. Dinner is provided!

“2:42” Evening Service:

The next 2:42 service is Sunday, Sep 18th, at 6 PM and will be held outdoors at the fire pit weather permitting. The topic is Principles for November: Thinking Biblically About the Election.

Photo Directory:

It’s time to start thinking about a new photo directory! If you wish to submit a picture, please email it to the office. Be sure it isn’t a professional photo (unless you have written permission for it to be used in this way.) We’ll schedule a “picture day” soon. And please be sure that we have your current address and phone information.

We have set up a “Prayer Line”

Prayer Line cards are available to distribute to friends & neighbors as an outreach ministry of RCC. Talk to Dave Craymer for more info.

Women's Retreat Money:

Ladies, please have your Women’s Retreat money in by Sep 25th. The cost is $114 for overnighters, $89 for commuters. Write “women’s retreat” in the memo and put it in the offering or give it to Gina Sharpe. Talk to her if you have any questions.

Orphan Care Fund:

The deacons have opened a fund to help with adoption expenses. If you desire to help, mark your gift “Orphan Care Fund”.
