Children’s Christmas Program Help:

We need people for set building, costumes coordination and a small role for an adult male. Talk to Ruthie Eilers to help with this. And it would be most helpful if a few parents could be at rehearsals!

Awana Helpers Needed:

There is a HUGE need for volunteers to help withAwana! Talk to Gina Sharpe.

Drivers & Chaperones Needed:

We need drivers and chaperones for the Lock-In (Dec 9-10). Contact Joe Schmidt.

Christmas Giving Tree:

This is the tree for mittens, hats, gloves, socks, and new and/or gently used clean blankets. Please place your items on the table in the Fellowship Hall by Dec 13th. Items will be given away at the Community Christmas Party on Dec 14th.

Community Christmas Party:

Wednesday, Dec 14th, at 6 PM. We need LOTS of help, especially from families with children (to mingle with the community children). We need cookie bakers, cookie servers, game coordinators, and much more! See Amelia at the sign up table in the Fellowship Hall.

Lock-In:

Jr & Sr High students are invited to attend. Dec 9th-10th (9:30 PM - 6 AM) at the 3 Mile Project in Grand Rapids. Cost is $5 per student. Sign up materials, including consent and medical form, will be available in the youth room.

Snowbirds:

Please get us your winter address and the dates you will leave and return! Also, let us know if you would like bulletins and/or sermon CDs while you are gone.

Men’s Breakfast Fellowship:

Saturday, Dec 10th, at 8 AM. The speaker will be John Huls.

New Faces:

We have a lot of new families here at RCC. If you are planning to make RCC your home, we want to give you a mailbox and attendance cards. No pressure and membership is not required. Just fill out a visitor tab and be sure to list the names of all the people in your home. We will d add new mailboxes this coming week. And some of you already have mailboxes and just don’t realize it. If you have a mailbox but not attendance cards, please fill out that visitor tab and list the names of your family members. We’ll get those done, too!

Upcoming Sunday Bible Class Time:

Dec 11: Dress Rehearsal with adult choir in sanctuary, setup for the program and the Christmas party
Dec 18: Pastor James & Cathy will give an overview of their trip to Israel

Want to serve?

There is a list on the Ministry Opportunities bulletin board in the narthex. It lists our ministries and the contact name and number for each. Check and see where you can be serving at RCC!

Parents:

Please keep watch on your children and encourage them not to run through the hallways or in the Fellowship Hall. We have several older folks who aren’t as steady or quick on their feet and children don’t always watch where they are going. We want everyone to be safe and enjoy their time together.
