News & Events for May 29-Jun 4

Children’s Day Camps:

If you are interested in coordinating or volunteering for a Day Camp this summer, please contact Pastor Bryan.

Pantry Needs:

More people for food pickup in New Era every other Thursday morning (people can take turns.) If a vehicle is a problem (a truck or large van is required), there is one available. For more information or to volunteer, please talk to Kaye Schmidt or Sandy Christiansen.

Fellowship Time Help Needed:

We need coffee servers beginning in June. Please check the sheet outside the kitchen to see if there is a month when you can serve. We also need people to bring homemade goodies (cookies, quickbreads, sweet rolls, etc) to go along with the coffee!

25th anniversary trip:

Pastor James & Cathy have finally scheduled his 25th anniversary trip. The trip is called “The Footsteps of the Apostles”. It is a trip to Israel and cities of the early church and is led by Alistair Begg. The trip is scheduled for Sep 23-Oct 8. The gifts that were previously given are not enough to cover the full cost of the trip so the deacons have reopened the fund. If you wish to contribute, please mark your gift “25th anniversary trip”.

Women’s Retreat:

Ladies, save the date! October 7-9 will be the Women’s Retreat at Grace Adventures. We will have a sign up in July but mark your calendars and make plans now. This is something you do not want to miss!

The Pollacks are adopting!

A fund has been opened to help them with the cost of this process. If you so desire, mark your gift “Pollack Adoption”.

Adoption Shower:

You are invited to a shower for Rachel & Corey Bartlett, who recently adopted two children. Join us Friday, June 10th. More info will be in your mailbox soon!

Boat Day!

Student Ministries families, come welcome our new intern Joe Schmidt and enjoy a time on the lake as we launch our summer ministry. We’ll have a grill out and fun on the water. We ask that guys bring munchies and ladies bring drinks to share. Wednesday, June 8 beginning at 6pm at the Wolff’s home. Contact Pastors James or Bryan for more information. In case of bad weather watch the church blog or facebook page for updates.

Hearing Assist is available!

If you would benefit from this option, please talk to the sound operator.
