News & Events for Mar 12-18

Cookies Needed:

We need volunteers to bake or purchase cookies for the Awana Grand Prix on March 22nd. If you are interested in helping, sign up on the bulletin board or contact Laurel Shugars (call the office for her contact info.)

Serving Opportunity:

As the body of Christ, we want to be there for each other. If you are willing and able to help someone in need (give a ride, do a home repair, whatever someone is unable to do on their own) or if you know someone who might need some help, contact Les Packard. Thanks so much!

Baby Bottle Blessing:

If you haven’t already, please turn in your bottle ASAP. Even if it’s empty (MPS has to pay to replace unreturned bottles). We are still missing 10 bottles.

Membership Class:

Interested in membership at RCC? Just want to know more about us? For three Sundays (Mar 12th, Mar 26th and Apr 2nd) we will hold membership classes during the Sunday School hour. Membership is not automatic with class attendance but all three classes are required for membership. Sign up on the main bulletin board (so that we know how many materials to prepare).

Women's Bible Study:

A 10 week study beginning Thursday, April 6th at 6:30 PM in the Fireside Room. Using the book Becoming A Woman of Influence, by Carol Kent, we will examine how Jesus used life-changing principles to disciple His followers. Through these principles we can make a lasting impact on others through mentoring. Contact Dorothy Conrad with questions.

Parent Dedication:

On Sunday, April 9th, we will have a parent dedication service. If you are interested in this, please contact the office by April 2nd.

Annual Meeting:

Mark your calendars! The annual meeting is Sunday, April 23rd, at 6 PM. Members are strongly encouraged to attend. As in the past, there will be dinner at 5 PM.

2:42 Service:

There will be a 2:42 service Sunday, March 19th at 6 PM. Jeff Bays will be teaching on Psalm 16.

A Note of Thanks:

Thank you to all who helped with the Forever Young Luncheon, especially with Janet being unavailable. Whether by helping with the cooking, serving, and/or cleanup, you were a blessing. A special thanks to those who attend the luncheon. You bless us by allowing us to serve you!

Want to serve?

There is a list on the Ministry Opportunities bulletin board in the narthex. It lists our ministries and the contact name and number for each. Check and see where you can be serving at RCC!

Prayer Line:

We have set up a “Prayer Line.” Prayer Line cards are available to distribute to friends & neighbors as an outreach ministry of RCC. Talk to Dave Craymer for more info.
