Food Pantry Pickup:

We still need more helpers to pick up food 1-2 times per month. Contact Kaye Schmidt for details.

Fellowship Time Help Needed:

Coffee servers needed. Can’t do an entire month? Share with another couple! It’s a great way to get to know people. Please check the sheet outside the kitchen to see when you can serve. We also need homemade cookies, quick breads, sweet rolls, etc. to go along with the coffee!

Evening Service:

The next Evening Service is Sunday, Mar 20th, at 6 PM. Chad Carlson will be speaking. There will be a meal provided before the service.

Forever Young Luncheon:

Are you over the age of 55? If so, please join us THIS Thursday, Apr 12th, at noon for a free meal, followed by a program with Gary Feenstra, Director of Maranatha. A freewill offering will be taken. Sign up on the bulletin board. Under age 55? Come midmorning to help with the prep, serving and/or cleanup!

Baby Shower:

Ladies, you are invited to a baby shower for Adrienne Kroll. Please join us this Friday, Apr 13th, at 6 PM to help encourage and prepare her for the coming baby! Invitations were put in the mailboxes last week.

Men’s Breakfast:

The Men’s Breakfast is this Saturday, Apr 14th, at 8 AM.

The Petes are coming!

Pete Stewart and Pete Bell and their families, from our sister church in Scotland (20schemes), will be here next Sunday. They will present and update during the meal before the evening service.

Elder Candidate:

The elders are pleased to announce that Dave Rakosky has been in the process of becoming an elder at RCC. Our bylaws state that before he is installed a candidate for elder must be presented to the membership so that any concern over his qualifications can be made known to the current elders. We anticipate installing Dave in the position of elder sometime in May. Please prayerfully read 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1, and our bylaws (Article 4, Section 1) and contact a current elder with any feedback.

The Hymn of the Month:

The Hymn of the Month is “Come, Thou Almighty King”. For more information on this hymn go to bit.ly/RCCApr18

Food Pantry Focus:

The food pantry needs cereal and mac-n-cheese.
